Meet The SAS Ai Field Team

Before the Presentation of the Scholars got underway, the SAS Ai President, Atty Romeo Somera and the Principal of St Augustine School, Sister Connie Gacutan, ICM presented the SAS Ai Field Team to the public bestowing to them their certificates of appreciation and lapel pins. This was such a great way to acknowledge the members of the team that did all the legwork and searched for our scholars.

The loudspeaker blared, "Let us take a moment, bow our heads, and join in prayer... for God to bless our efforts, for God to smile kindly upon all our young people and their families on this special day, that God may bless them as they embark upon their high school studies, that they may realize that their good fortune at having been selected by the SAS Ai scholarship team to be the recipients of this fabulous award has all been made possible from the grace of God. Lord we ask you to bless all our participants in this awards ceremony, our Barangay Captains and their councils and staff. Bless us all O God and see us through safely, and in our lives bestow upon us your graces. AMEN."

The program is set up so that the members of the SAS Ai Field Team are going to be introduced and recognized first. Albert D Bunoan attended momentarily because he had a prior appointment with his high school batch.

Absent from this proceeding is Engr. Leonard Buenavista who spearheaded the Field Team's effort at pursuing the candidates.

Vicky D Chua, Owner and proprietor, operator and entrepreneur of a family business, Lead of the SAS Ai Field Team and is the Local Liaison Officer based in Tagudin, Ilocos Sur.

Yvonne Pagaduan-Lascota, English Teacher at Central Elementary School, member of the SAS Ai Field Team.

Remy D. Sagun, Bookkeeper, Accountant and member of the SAS Ai Field Team volunteers her time to help Vicky D Chua in running the team for the sake of the scholars.

Fred J Somera, after waiting for so long finally gets his certificate. Fred is a proprietor, operator, entrepreneur of a family business and is the Local Liaison Officer based in San Juan, La Union.
